NHT 24B17727 Powder-Coated Semi-Loaded Remanufactured Brake Caliper Set (Pair), Black . NHT premium calipers are custom powder-coated and assembled in USA. They are available in five colors: black, gold, red, silver and yellow. Assembly is done under quality standards in compliance with OE or SAE specifications and, every NHT caliper is 100 percent pressure-tested with genuine OE testing equipment. NHT calipers are supplied in axle sets, complete with brackets, if applicable. Both the caliper housing and its mounting bracket (and in some cases, the caliper support spring) are powder-coated for a great look through your open wheels. An installation guide and a bleeder hose are supplied with the set for a clean, mistake-free installation. All pistons, bolts, bushings, hardware and other components used in the assembly process are new. Caliper housings and brackets are new, if available or reclaimed from high-quality cores if not. NHT powders are gloss or semi-gloss. They will maintain their appearance and their shine up to 500° Fahrenheit, which is more than adequate under normal driving conditions. NHT powders are non-sticky and easy to maintain. Brake dust and road dirt can easily be wiped away. Washing should only be done with warm water and mild soap. Do not use brake cleaner or other solvents. NHT recommends the use of Axxis Deluxe Advanced or XBG brake pads in combination with NHT calipers.

01-03 Honda Civic (Hatchback W/4 Lug) Front Diamond Slot Brake Rotors. The SP Performance Diamond Slotted Brake Rotors are a unique design in slotted technology. This slotted design was created to maximize the out-gassing while maintaining the structural integrity of the rotor. The series of slots and diamond slots "wipes" the surface of the pad, reducing gases which build up and cause brakes to fade at higher temperatures. The slots and diamonds are machined to the minimum rotor thickness to insure rotor strength and integrity. The appearance of this design is highly desirable to the performance enthusiast wanting a new look to their vehicle.

These rotors are electro-plated with a bright Silver Zinc Finish to give a more appealing look. Electro-plating forms a metallurgical bond between the plating and steel, forming an iron rich alloy with tenacious bond where it will form its own protective oxide layer. Electro- plating is very effective in combating the corrosion of the rotor.
